ProAssurance Names Starnes to Succeed CEO Crowe
Stan Starnes will succeed retiring ProAssurance Corp. Chief Executive Derrill Crowe on July 1.Most recently, Starnes was corporate planning and administration president at Brasfield & Gorrie LLC, a Birmingham, Ala.-based general contractor. Crowe will remain non-executive chairman after he retires.ProAssurance [ticker: PRA] is a specialty insurer with $3.4 billion in assets and $573 million in gross written premiums.
