Consumers love online banking.
That’s the upshot of a new study commissioned by CashEdge, a vendor. Fully 85% of consumers said they would only use financial institutions that offered online banking, and another 82% said they would use additional online banking applications, if they were available. Sixty-five percent of the 400 consumers surveyed said they would switch to another bank if the online banking features were more robust.

As part of a larger transportation bill, President Bush signed legislation which effectively eliminates vicarious liability for all rental vehicle owners. The new law essentially preempts laws in the 16 states which impose limited or complete vicarious liability on rental or leasing companies.
